A blinded panel read standardized photographs from the vertex programs. Two of those 12-month programs enrolled 1553 men with vertex hair loss. At 12 months, the panel rated an increase in scalp hair in 48% of men on PROPECIA. The placebo rate was 7%. The panel ratings were a secondary endpoint in those programs.
