01Vertex programs

Three 12-month programs enrolled 1879 men with mild to moderate hair loss. Two of those programs enrolled 1553 men with vertex hair loss. Investigators used a 7-point scale. At 12 months, investigators rated 65% of men on PROPECIA as having increased hair growth. The placebo rate was 37%.

02Hair count in the vertex programs

At 12 months, hair count showed a 107-hair difference from placebo within a 1-inch diameter circle (5.1 cm2). That comparison sat on 679 men on PROPECIA and 672 men on placebo.
